Nothing on this site is uploaded by its users or operators. Every torrent, description and comment you see here is automatically scraped and mirrored from nyaa.si and sukebei.nyaa.si. There is no upload functionality and no user accounts.

Because entries are scraped shortly after they appear upstream — often before upstream moderators have reviewed them — some mirrored entries may since have been removed from the origin site, and may violate the origin site's rules or applicable law. The report system exists precisely to flag such content: every torrent page has a Report button that lets you flag an entry as a rule violation, DMCA issue, illegal content, or other. Reports go straight to the site operators, who can hide or delete the mirrored entry.

Origin site rules (context)

The rules below are adapted from the origin sites. They govern what gets uploaded there, and therefore describe what you can expect to find mirrored here. If a mirrored entry breaks these rules, it likely slipped past (or was later removed by) upstream moderation — please report it.

Content restrictions

  • Content is expected to be East Asian media (Japan, China, Korea) or otherwise related to it: anime, manga, music, literature, live action, pictures and software.
  • Uploads must not be mislabeled, misleading, or spam; batch uploads should not needlessly duplicate existing content.
  • Re-encodes and rips of existing releases are marked as remakes; low-effort re-encodes and upscales are not welcome upstream, and video below common quality/resolution baselines (e.g. sub-480p re-encodes of readily available higher-resolution sources) is generally removed.

Work-safe / non-work-safe split

  • Nyaa is the work-safe site: no pornographic or adult-only material.
  • Sukebei is the non-work-safe site: adult games, doujinshi, pornographic video, and real-life adult material belong there and only there.
Reporting content

If you find a mirrored entry that has been removed upstream, infringes your rights, or is otherwise objectionable, use the Report button on that torrent's page. Choose the category that fits best:

  • Rule violation — breaks the origin site rules above.
  • DMCA — copyright takedown requests.
  • Illegal content — content that violates the law.
  • Other — anything else worth the operators' attention.

Describe the problem in the reason field; you may optionally leave an email address for follow-up. Reports are reviewed by the site operators, who can hide or delete the mirrored entry.

To prevent abuse, submitting a report requires solving a short image captcha, and the number of reports each visitor can file per hour/day is limited. One open report per torrent per visitor is enough — duplicates are rejected until it has been reviewed.
